In order for you to get the Law of Attraction to work for you, you must be exact in your thoughts, your words, and most importantly, your feelings.

My book is meant to be a Practical Guide in getting you acquainted with and harnessing the power of the Law of Attraction (Loa). While I have not written any books on the subject, I have spent the last few months researching books, meetings and lessons on Loa by good old fashioned investigation. However, I do promise you an honest, no-nonsense guide to your Loa schooling so that you may manifest whatever you desire in life, resulting in the quest we all share: Happiness.

Who Am I And Why Should You Listen To Me?

Basically, I am where you are and have been where you have been. Just the fact that you were somehow Attracted to me and my book is proof enough that you and I are supposed to connect. However, I am a practical someone and have had plenty of skepticism to spare. I understand that you may, too. So, before we hit the nuts and bolts of this "course", here's some facts about me and my journey to help ease your mind...

My name is Laura. I am an actress who was born and raised in the great state of Texas. I come from a close, loving family, and am blessed with a good schooling and intelligence to seek new ways to flourish in this life. However, even with all these advantages, I have had some hard times and heartache; I have been in some major financial difficulty, had trouble in romance, and lost my father at a crucial time in my life. Depression haunted me for a few years and, while I was never suicidal, I did find myself in an emotional and spiritual hole that took a while from which to escape.

From Cynic To Believer

As an artist, I have been lucky to be with others who have expressed their feelings without caution, while sharing some piquant spiritual awakenings. However, at the time, I did not fully comprehend that many of these people were living and practicing the Law of Attraction in their Daily lives. In some ways, I would listen to their stories and believe them, but I did not seek out how I could accomplish the same plenty in my life. I never worked on allowing myself to believe, without reservation, that The Universe was there for me, giving me whatever I wanted to make my life joyous and prosperous, all there for the asking.

My fabulous piquant Story

When I decided to move from Dallas to Chicago to advance my horizons and work on my craft, I was excited, but scared. In fact, this move was a huge change for me, as I loved my family and friends and hated to leave them. However, there was a voice inside me that made me do it. Years later, I have come to understand that The Universe was guiding me all the way. In fact, what I am about to tell you will blow your mind...

Everything Just Fell Into My Lap

As I said, I was hesitant to leave my cherished life in Dallas, but a feeling made me push forward. I also knew myself; if I did not undoubtedly Tell people I was moving, I might never leave the Lone Star State. I had to tell people, so that every time they saw me, they would say, "So, when are you piquant to Chicago?" In this way, I would be accountable and would Have to move.

Even though I had been telling people for months that I was going, I never was exact about an exact date. So, colse to July, I decided on a day: October 1st.

What happened next was like remarkable gold. Within one month, fabulous things took place. First, I was working as a temp in an venture business and it turns out their headquarters were in Chicago. When I told my boss I was moving, she arranged, in one day, to replacement me to their office in Chicago. Next, I received a call from an acquaintance I had not talked to In Years. He informed me that he was piquant from his Chicago apartment in October, but had three months left on his lease. He heard through the grapevine that I was piquant there in October and asked if I would move in and take over his rent! Then, two weeks after that, a director friend of mine in Chicago asked if I would be the normal understudy for her all-female yield when I arrived in town.

So, let's tally it up: I now had a new home, a "day job" and an acting role - All Given To Me In One Month. To put the icing on the cake, I even became the lead in the play after the first weekend when the lead actress quit. This led to a casting director finding my performance, who got me an agent and a national market audition - All In One Month!!! Clearly, The Universe heard me and took care of every necessity - And I did not even lift a finger.

"Well", I concept to myself, "this is extraordinary. But, I won't be greedy. To have such good fortune, I must not take benefit of this 'power'. I will only ask for help when I am in desperate need." And that is how I lived my life. When a accident arose, I asked and it was given. But now I know...

I was so wrong. In fact, after studying the Loa, I have realized I Have Not Been asking The Universe For Enough. I have been under the misconception that there are puny resources and that we all must share. The reality is, The Universe is unlimited in its plenty and it is all there for the asking.

There are plenty of Loa stories I have to tell and I am sure you do as well. If you don't have them now, you soon will as you think back on your life and comprehend that you have plenty of Loa moments. Coincidences, serendipity, and good fortune from your past will all make sense to you once you understand how the Loa works.

How I Got Started: 'The Secret' And Larry King

One night last year, I was bored and was channel surfing when I happened upon 'Larry King Live'. Now, listen - I rarely watch Larry King. To be honest, I would rather catch a detective show or a movie than sit through a talk show. However, this night, I stayed tuned long enough to hear one of his guests mention "The Universe" and it caught my attention. Turns out Larry King was profiling the phenomenon known as 'The Secret'. His guests were the authors featured in 'The Secret' and they were promoting the series.

I had not heard of this book or Dvd before, but was fascinated by the guests' stories. It made me recall my moving-to-Chicago story and other coincidences in my life. Anyway, I enjoyed the rest of the show and made a reasoning note to myself to check out the Dvd so I could eye some of this power for myself.

A few days passed. I then had a date with an old friend and when we chatted after dinner, I told him about the Larry King show I had recently seen. He showed interest and enthusiasm and we agreed to eye what 'The Secret' had to offer.

That was in November. Then, a week before Christmas, my same friend brought me a gift. Usually, I don't open presents before Christmas, so, I let it stay under my tree. But for some reason, I kept hovering over that single gift bag; I was attracted to it. After a few more days, I thought, "Oh well, I am traveling to Dallas tomorrow, so I will open it now". Inside was 'The Secret' Dvd I told him about. Well, after six weeks, I kind of let it slip my mind, so I was piquant as to what this was all about. I watched it then and there.

Brand New World

The first time I watched 'The Secret', I was filled with emotion. I cried - not from sadness - but from unblemished bliss. My heart welled with every conceivable feeling as I associated to the people and stories I was watching. I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. In fact, I still see myself in that moment as if I were 'The Grinch Who Stole Christmas'. You know - the scene where his heart grows three sizes? That's exactly how I felt.

This fabulous experience reminded me of the things I knew but had forgotten. I was reminded of my blessings and how truly beautiful the world is and how deeply loved I undoubtedly am.

Since that day, I have been on this fabulous journey. Don't get me wrong, there have been some bumps along the way. I have experienced some major dissatisfaction as I shake off the negativity and bad spiritual habits I have learned over the years. However, my joy has been manifested in ways I could not have imagined a year ago and I feel I am only beginning my life. I am Remembering what I knew when I was a child: No limits, no pain, only wonder. My only wish now is that I sought these truths sooner in my life so I could have avoided some of the pain I have felt. But then again, that pain helped get me to where I am today, so I am grateful.
